Legacy mural Reveal
“LEGACY NC” MURAL FOR CARTERET COUNTY Installation complete, reveal ceremony scheduled Carteret County, NC, November 7, 2025 – Artist Max Dowdle is leading the State-wide project “Legacy NC: 100 Murals in 100 Counties” . The Arts Council of Carteret County sponsored the project locally, providing funding with additional contributions from an anonymous private donor, and a grant from Morehead City. Holiday Show Reception will feature a new book launch
During the Holiday Show reception on November 15, 2025 between 4-6pm, join us for the Book Launch of Elizabeth and the Baby Otter, a new children’s hardcover picture book set amid the Cape Lookout National Seashore about the adventures of a little girl and a baby otter.
