Community Paint update- Legacy Mural
A huge thanks to everyone that came out to paint on Tuesday the 4th. There is only a small amount left to paint - if you are planning on coming today be there early before it's all done! From 2-5pm today, 11/5 at Cartert Community Theatre at 1311 Arendell St.


Holiday Show Reception will feature a new book launch
During the Holiday Show reception on November 15, 2025 between 4-6pm, join us for the Book Launch of Elizabeth and the Baby Otter, a new children’s hardcover picture book set amid the Cape Lookout National Seashore about the adventures of a little girl and a baby otter. It was written by local author, Deborah Van Dyken, and illustrated by local Carolina Artist Gallery resident artist, Barbi Bailey-Smith. They will briefly speak about how they wrote, illustrated and publish

Adopt-a-Marlin Program Morehead City, North Carolina Applications Due November 21, 2025 Morehead City, in partnership with local businesses and organizations, is pleased to announce the Adopt-a-Marlin Program. This initiative will celebrate community pride and artistic creativity by showcasing large fiberglass Marlin statues, each uniquely painted by local artists, created in collaboration with local businesses and organizations. Once completed, the Marlins will be installed
