Beverly Woodhall at Bogue Banks
Artist Beverly Woodhall Presentation May 9 1-2 p.m. Beverly is a mixed media painter working from her studio, where she creates primarily large paintings with many layers of texture, collage & paints creating depth and complexity. She is inspired by her surroundings, the marsh, her gardens and the Carolina sky. Her work can be found at Feather Your Nest in Beaufort. Reception to follow. ACCC accepting grassroots subgrant applications
Arts Council of Carteret County (ACCC) is now accepting applications for North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program subgrants through May 31, 2026. In 1977, the North Carolina General Assembly established the Grassroots Arts Program to ensure that every citizen has access to high-quality arts experiences. The program provides funding for the arts in all 100 counties in North Carolina. Funds are primarily distributed through local arts councils using a per capita-base


ACCC Application for Student Scholarship now available
The Arts Council of Carteret County (ACCC) offers scholarship opportunities of up to $1,000 per student to provide tuition assistance to students pursuing degrees in the arts at the college level (two- or four-year courses of study) or the North Carolina School of the Arts. These are one-time (non-renewable) scholarships. Scholarships under this program are available for tuition assistance only. They are not available to pay for private tutoring or classes other than thos
