ACCC accepting grassroots subgrant applications
Arts Council of Carteret County (ACCC) is now accepting applications for North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program subgrants through May 31, 2026. In 1977, the North Carolina General Assembly established the Grassroots Arts Program to ensure that every citizen has access to high-quality arts experiences. ACCC Application for Student Scholarship now available
The Arts Council of Carteret County (ACCC) offers scholarship opportunities of up to $1,000 per student to provide tuition assistance to students pursuing degrees in the arts at the college level (two- or four-year courses of study) or the North Carolina School of the Arts. Carteret County is home to a large population of artists and art lovers, so it is appropriate that our local municipalities have proclaimed February as Arts Month. The Arts Council of Carteret county is pleased to accept the proclamations from Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Cedar Point, Pine Knoll Shores and Emerald Isle. Thank you to the mayors of these cities in our county for their support of the arts and in particular Art From the Heart.
