Craving Art Students at Bradford Gallery with Jazz Performance by Bill Stevens

Craving Art Students, artists who study with Heather Sink of Craving Art Studio in Beaufort, will host an exhibit for the month of September.

Craving Art Studio students come from all walks of life and backgrounds, bringing with them a wonderful diversity of experiences and perspectives. While some had never painted before, others had dreamed of learning but never had the opportunity to study art seriously. Instructor Heather Sink says she’s incredibly proud of every student who has come through the studio, whether they have continued to pursue art professionally or simply paint for the joy of it. She says, that over the years, they have formed meaningful friendships and a wonderful community of encouragement and support. Following the art reception, a top tier professional jazz ensemble will feature Bill Stevens on piano, Joe Brotherton on trumpet, Dillon Goodson on bass, Will Snider on drums and Heather Sink on brushes, actually painting live. Joe is a D.C. all-star who has played and studied with Wynton Marsalis. His warm tone and soulful playing will be the perfect capstone for the summer season. This is his fifth Jazz Night performance with us on the island and it's always a first-class show!
