ACCC Member Showcase 2026
The 2026 Membership Showcase got off to a rousing start at the reception on Saturday Sept 26th. The event was sponsored by Casey Elliott Attorney at Law by providing a sumptuous spread of delicacies and a nice assortment of libations including mimosas! Our own Stephen Grant embellished the groaning board with his fresh shrimp and smoked pork tenderloins. Our ACCC Board President, Melissa Kelley, provided a summary of the year's accomplishments and thanked the membership for supporting the Arts Council. The CAG liaison Board member, Liz Morton, highlighted the display of art in the Big Rock workspace created by the participants of Open Studio and Art Jamz programs.
The reception featured a silent auction of a 1995 Seafood Festival poster created by a past member of the Carolina Artist Gallery, Nancy Gore. The poster is on display and the auction will continue until the end of the show.
The 50' show wall in the Carolina Artist Gallery proved to be too small requiring another 20' of display wall in order to hang the 75 pieces of art entered by our talented members. This exhibition of creative art will be on display through November 8th. We encourage you to come view our showcase of talent and while you wander please provide us with your choice of best in show. The artist with the most votes will be awarded a People's Choice prize.
