New Opportunity at the Arts Council for Members and Friends

The Arts Council of Carteret County is pleased to announce a new opportunity for our members to showcase their artwork.  We are offering three 4-week sessions where the 24-foot-long Big Rock wall will be available for you to display your artwork in your own private show. You will have access to the space for an opening reception, if you choose, and your show will be listed on our website and social media.  


Cost: $100 per four-week session plus 30% commission on sales.


You will receive assistance with hanging your work and the arts council will be responsible for labeling.


Your show will be open during regular gallery hours.


The following dates are available for the 2026 calendar year:

May 24 to June 21

August 9 to September 6

October 25 to November 22

Host your next meeting, rehearsal, event or class in our Big Rock Studio space


The 24’x 31’ room accommodates up to 50 people seated. Rentals are available Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. After hours by request and at an additional fee.


The space includes:

Parking • Internet • Kitchenette • Restroom • Large TV • Chairs, Tables, Easels


Rental Fees begin at $20 per hour. Failure to comply with start and stop times will incur an additional $15 charge. After hours fees begin at $25 per hour.
