ACCC Annual meeting Highlights

The first Arts Council annual membership meeting held in our 1702 Arendell Street Art Center was a big success. Attending members were treated to Mimosas, our Core Sound Sunrise punch, scones and sweets. The outgoing Board President, Beverly Glover-Wood introduced board members and new officers including Board President, Melissa Kelley. Melissa discussed her vision for the future ACCC and emphasized the importance of supporting the arts in Carteret County. We also showed a new video created by outgoing Board member David Daly that concisely summarized the Arts & Economic Prosperity study results showing how positively the arts effect our economy.
Thank you to the members in attendance and to all the Arts Council members who have contributed to this past year's many successes. Together we will continue the ACCC mission to support the arts and be the "Ambassador of the Arts" in Carteret County.
