Show theme art is "Crab Pot Buoys #3" by Liz Morton
A colorful medley evokes the joys of a carefree summer day, blending vibrant hues into abstract delight. Crab Pot Buoys #3 features a cluster of colorful, elongated shapes resembling ice cream bars, popsicles, or here on the coast - crab pot buoys. The shapes are rendered in vibrant hues including pink, yellow, blue, green, red, orange, and gray, each with textured, cracked, and distressed surfaces. The background is a rich turquoise blue that contrasts with the bright colors of the shapes. The textured layers and irregular black markings across the forms give the painting a dynamic and weathered appearance, emphasizing depth and movement within the abstract arrangement.
