Having Fun Using Watercolor Techniques
This class will demonstrate the use of washes, wet-into-wet and pouring techniques using watercolor. We will create paintings using a variety of methods for use with transparent watercolor.
These methods will include “leaving the whites”, blotting and lifting, dry brush and spatter and salt textures. Our result will be a creative image with a remarkable blend of techniques. We will work from a subject provided by the instructor.
A critique of art work will take place at 3:00pm each day.
The goal of the class will be to create a working confidence and ability to use watercolor techniques in a work of art.
