About the event
Celebrate the Crystal Coast’s vibrant, creative spirit. Discover Beverly Woodhall’s breathtaking new collection in an upcoming show August 11th.
Beverly is a visual artist painting full time from her studio, Feather your Nest, located in Beaufort. She is inspired by the ocean and the gardens she keeps. Currently she is making her work in layers, creating textures to build upon. Colors and how they relate to each other is also important in her paintings. The mixed media works are finished off with oil paint that brings a richness in color you will notice in her work. There is a lot of energy and detail in the colorful paintings that keep the viewer engaged. She says she wants nothing more than to keep making and sharing her art bringing some joy into the world.
This collection will be featured in the Arts Council of Carteret County’s Art and Studio space beginning on August 11 through September 5 during regular Gallery hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 to 5.
An opening reception is planned for Saturday, August 15 at 3PM, where you will be able to listen to the artist speak about the importance of self-trust in creating her art.
