Adopt an Artist
Initiated in 2007, ACCC's Adopt an Artist program places the work of Arts Council member artists in a wide variety of local businesses, public offices and institutions. Businesses/Organizations get the opportunity to display fine art and visual media on their premises, showing their support for local artists. Heralded by the NC Arts Council as an exemplary program, and the only one of its kind in the state, art enriches the community by creating exposure to an audience that ordinarily might never be reached.
