Join us May 18th to see the artists at work on site at Union Point Park, Tryon Palace Outer Gardens, and the Master Gardener Cooperative Extension Garden! Works will be for sale on site and at a exhibition at Carolina Creations.
Arts of the Pamlico is seeking works of art displaying what the views on the other side of the window looks like to an artist. Is it the windows in their
house, their studio, their dreams, or even the universe? Submissions June 2-6. Show opens July 11, 2019.

KENNEDY CENTER VISUAL ART COMPETITION FO YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES
Do you know a young person with a disability who is a good artist? The Kennedy Center has an annual visual art competition for transition-age youth (16-25) with disabilities. The exhibition has $60,000 of award money, provides young artists the opportunity to come to the Kennedy Center for professional development and an opening reception. The exhibition then tours the country. The deadline to enter is June 5, 2019.

NC WILDLIFE FEDERATION WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
Calling all amateur photographers! North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) is sponsoring its First Annual Wildlife Photography Contest. Send your best pictures capturing the beauty of North Carolina’s nature – in your own backyard or the larger backyard of North Carolina’s natural landscapes and creatures. Deadline to enter is June 15, 2019.

WEST MAIN ARTISTS CO-OP 2019 JURIED EXHIBITION
Coming soon to West Main Artists Co-op in Spartanburg, SC an invitation to all artists, 18 years or older, residing in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee to apply for acceptance into WMAC 2019. This is the first regional, juried exhibition presented by the Co-op with the intention of it becoming an annual event to showcase the amazing diversity of work within this southern region. The exhibition will take place within our 2000-square-foot gallery space, The Venue@West Main. Entries will be accepted July 7 - August 3, 2019. ARTS AT THE MILL FINE ARTS FESTIVAL • MOORESVILLE
Mooresville Arts and The Mill are partnering again to bring Arts at The Mill - a fine arts festival to Mooresville, North Carolina November 8-10, 2019. The festival will be held indoors, at The Mill (500 S Main St Mooresville, NC 28115) on Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10, 2019. Fine artists and artisans are encouraged to apply now through Friday, August 2, 2019. (Please note: the categories of wood, jewelry and glass are now wait list only; contact Arts at The Mill for any questions concerning category eligibility).
The application fee is $45.00, and artists can download the festival prospectus and apply at www.artsatthemill.com. A current list of accepted artists can be found on our website and on our Facebook page.
9th ANNUAL ARTS ON THE PERQUIMANS JURIED ARTS AND CRAFTS SHOW
OCTOBER 5, 2019 • HERTFORD NC
The Perquimans Arts Leagues is gearing up for the 9th "Arts on the Perquimans" juried arts and crafts show on October 5, 2019. Each year we have returning exhibitors and we reach out to include new exhibitors to insure that the show remains fresh and interesting to the public.
There are inside and outside exhibitors, a food truck, light refreshments inside, a bake sale, 50/50 raffles tickets and the winner is pulled at the end of the show (no need to be present to win) and door prizes all day long.
